Our Swiss jewellers have constructed the perfect Clone and these watches are made 1:1. A genuine watch was used as a sample and was completely   disassembled for cloning so all parts are interchangeable with genuine. This is achieved by having the genuine watch completely disassembled and then all parts cloned by using the most advanced CAD/CAM, modular molds and  CNC Laser Machines. Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is the method used to deposit thin layers of material by condensation of vapor in a high temperature and vacuum environment. DLC or Diamond-like carbon coating is the highest quality in black coating, the most durable and hardest to scratch. The coating is done with the bonding of high energy precursive carbon rapidly cooled down on the surface. It is very similar to the process of making synthetic diamonds. Not only the process is similar but the carbon coatings have the same attributes as diamonds since they are extremely hard and very resistant to scratches. In other words it is perfect for making metal surfaces more durable.

The DLC is way more resistant than any other material, perhaps a little more expensive but it is worth it. Here at Swisstime we only use DLC to customize our Rolex, Panerai, Audemars Piguet and Hublot Watches since we want to use the highest quality in our products. Diamond Like Carbon coating has many commercial applications, including machine tools, aerospace parts, F1 engine parts, pharmaceutical implants, and of course, high end watches.

There are a few key characteristic of DLC, which has helped it to supplant the use of PVD as a cosmetic coating for fine timepieces:

DLC is an extremely hard coating. The following shows the comparative surface hardness of various materials, using the Vickers of Hardness scale:


In terms of relative hardness, DLC, at 4000+ HV is:

  • About 5X as hard as stainless steel
  • About equal to sapphire
  • About one-half as hard as diamond
  • Significantly harder than other PVD coatings

Because of its durability, DLC is used as tribological coating for machine tools such as drill bits, saws, and dies. When used on a watch, DLC coatings provide superior durability and wear resistance.

One of the primary uses of DLC is as a dry lubricant for pumps, machine parts, bearings, cams...even razor blades. The low-friction attributes of DLC help to increase the durability of the coating when used on watches. Glancing blows against a hard surface, which may dig in and damage normal PVD coating, are more likely to simply slide over across the surface of a DLC coated case. Simply stated, it's just more difficult to damage a DLC coating. These characteristics, along with the beauty of DLC, have helped it to grow in popularity as a hard surface coating for fine watches.

Every watch case is made from the highest quality 904L stainless steel provided by the leader in the steel industry, Allegheny Ludlum. 904L extends an outstanding overall corrosion and sensitization resistant properties which makes it the most suitable choice to provide the best quality casing. We use the most advanced version of CAD/CAM and Laser CNC machines to create all our watch parts.

The Rolex cases include the serial and model number on the lugs which corresponds to 2012 Production. From no pinholes on the watch cases to thicker hand on the Yachtmaster our watches are simply heads and shoulders above the competition. Our bands linked by threaded screws. Genuine Rolex bracelets are linked together by threaded screws. All other replica Rolex watches has a pin instead of a screw. It is much more expensive to thread the interior of a link and even more expensive for the jeweller to manually insert the screw. The links are also much easier to adjust.

Whatever markings, engravings or features a genuine watch have, you will also find on our Clone. These are quality Swiss timepieces so you can be sure that every last detail is inspected before these watches leave the manufacturer.

We use only Titanium Grade 5 which is has a high corrosion resistance and extremely high strength to weight ratio. Most watches are manufactured with stainless steel, but an increasing number of timepieces feature titanium cases. The popularity of titanium watches has increased since about 2000 because it's a lightweight metal about 50 percent lighter than stainless steel and is resistant to corrosion. Sports-style watches marketed for wear in the water are often made of titanium.

Lighter and Stronger
Titanium is about 30 percent stronger than steel but weighs about half as much. It's a silver-grey material that is excavated from sand deposits and igneous rocks. Titanium is primarily used in NASA space and aircraft construction. The qualities of titanium include an oxide film that can't corrode or rust.

Titanium versus Stainless Steel
The obvious distinction between titanium and stainless steel is that stainless-steel-cased watches are heavier than titanium. This is not necessarily a drawback since watch styles in the first decade of the 21st century have evolved to larger and heavier timepieces to give what watch enthusiasts call "wrist presence." Although Titanium watches are more durable, it's possible they can crack under extreme abuse or pressure. Titanium watch cases can't be repaired. Stainless steel cases can be. Titanium is hypoallergenic. Stainless steel can be uncomfortable to wear if the skin perspires.


An ideal watchmaking material, ceramic is 30% lighter than steel, 100% anti-allergenic, 100% unalterable and 100% rust-proof. Its light weight, scratch resistance, durable and smooth touch. Cerasuisse SA Geneva developed Isocera a special high-teach ceramic compound exclusive for Our Ceramic sandwich bezels and Ceramic cases are solid ISOCERA wich is 2 times harder compared to Rolex Ceracrhom ceramic.

Isocera is zirconium oxide ceramic and it is moulded from powder using a process of isostatic pressure (instead of being cast as is the normal practice). In this way all the positive features of this material are enhanced: its extreme hardness (up to five times greater than steel), its strong resistance to a wide range of temperatures, and the fact that when worn for long periods the watch does not become scratched, damaged or corroded. Also, ceramic formed in this way takes on a more homogenous appearance than that resulting from the traditional method of casting the material.


Our 2-tone watches have real 18K heavy wrap gold parts, on the middle link, crown and bezel. The all gold watches now come in heavy wrapped 18K Gold. That is twice the gold content found even on the genuine Swiss gold wrapped watches. This results in a watch that tests positive for 18K gold (since the layer is 7 times thicker than simple gold wrap with Titanium Nitride layers in base ). The watch therefore looks and feels just like the real thing. It can even be polished without fade. This method saves thousands of dollars, because you are only paying for a layer of 18K gold instead for the whole weight of the band and case.

Heavy Gold Wrap Real 18k Gold & Titanium Nitride (TiN)
Now featuring on all our “full” gold models is a revolutionary gold technique using solid 18k gold and titanium nitride offers 100x more durability in comparison to gold wrapped. Space age gold colored titanium nitride is put down first as a "rough" deposit and then layer upon layer of solid 18k gold is fused into the valleys of the rough surface. The same solid gold content is used as in previous techniques but it is now protected by the "peaks" of color matched TiN, so it doesn't wear away.

This method although more expensive to produce, provides for an incredibly long lasting perfect appearance, which could not be equaled by any other gold plating method. You wont find this improved gold method on other sites, this is exclusively contracted to Swisstime  for our unique all gold collection. Titanium Nitride (TiN) is also used as a non-toxic exterior for medical implants.


Our Ultra Durable In-House Clone Swiss Movements are made with a genuine movement as sample completely disassembled and then all parts cloned  using the most advanced CAD/CAM, modular molds and CNC Laser Machines. In order for Swisstime to move forward and create a new generation of Clone watches finding a higher quality movement would be the number one priority since it is the most important component of any watch. From research to development our trained Swiss watch makers assisted us in the latest modifications and improvements which enabled us secure COSC certified movements which make up only 3% of the world's automatic movements.

The COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres standard) certification is the industry standard for highest quality undergoing the strictest testing conditions. Your Cloned Watch will contain a MODIFIED ORIS SA Switzerland In-house clone movement and more importantly within COSC range of -3 to +5 seconds per day. The entire movement is Swiss made and also carries the same look as an original movement so you get the quality and trust that a Swiss engine brings. For our modified In-House movements we use only genuine Swiss ORIS calibers and for special parts (gears, cams etc.) we use genuine Swiss ORIS or ETA, that they are 100% identical to the genuine movement. They are 100% same as original and you can install them inside a genuine case, install a genuine dial and hands on them.

Our Ultra Durable In House Clone Swiss movements are designed with improved key point parts like wider wheel teeth for heavy, long lasting use and lubed with 5 different types of durable Swiss lubricants. This results to a movement with typical service needs every 5 years instead of 2 that the genuine movements require. Also they are calibrated up to +5 secs per day with in the COSC standards. All Clone movements feature Shock Resistant Movement Holder. In some models which Swiss ETA is used in the original we use exactly the same movement. As of this writing, our CLONED models are supplied with Ultra Durable In-house Clone Swiss movements. For Rolex we have Clone calibers 3131, 3135, 3156, 3186 and 3187.

Unlike Rolex most other Swiss watch manufacturers such as IWC, Vacheron, Omega, Hublot, Panerai, outsource their movements from ETA therefore many non Rolex brand Clones will contain the identical movement found in the genuine timepiece. This is so convincing that even if a jeweler was to open up the watch he would have a difficult time ascertaining its authenticity. Movements such as Valjoux 7750, Lemania 861, Poljot 3133, Unitas 6497, ETA 2824-2 are all engines used in current famous brand watches that can also be found in our Swiss Clone Watches. These are a few of the many reasons why Swisstime  Clones are the only watches that can proudly stand side by side with any fine Swiss Timepiece.


Most manufacturers use the ubiquitous ETA brand of movements.  They are used because they are relatively inexpensive and have been proven to be relative reliable and provide a good imitation of branded watch movements. This is because ETA provides the movements for many of the current watch manufacturers in OEM form.  These movements may later be tweaked or modified, but in reality they perform almost identically to their base model’s statistics. Breitling is a good example of a manufacturer that relies on ETA for movements.  

Several of Breitling’s models use a modified ETA movement in their design.  This movement is tuned by replacing some parts with higher performance pieces, or improving the finish and tolerances of the movement.  Still, at the heart of the watch beats a simple ETA movement.
These are world renowned movements that are used in genuine Panerai, Hublot, AP and even Rolex watches. Also some Swiss watch manufacturers uses Swiss ETA movements so we use exactly the same movement. Without a doubt these are simply the finest Clone watches available anywhere and even comparable to other fine original watches.

These prestige Ultra Durable In-House Clone Swiss calibers are the most durable and reliable working horses. The movements maintain good time accuracy, from -4/+6 to -3/+5 seconds per day, within  COSC certification limits.They require minimal maintenance with longer time in service needs due to improved durable moving parts and durable lubricants used. For lubrication a device automates the application of the various lubricant types in the movements. Placement and quantity of the lubrication is laser-accurate. It is the best choice even for military grade watches.


Our watches are equipped with SMOOTHSAP 2, a high purity Swiss Made scratch-proof Sapphire crystal with colourless Anti reflective coating inside out, same shape, thickness and Cyclops magnification power as genuine. Each piece is machine cut and hand polished to achieve technical perfection, and a precise fit to the watch casing. The seamless fit provides peak refraction and an optically pure prism. Our new 2012 Rolex watches have a very small, nearly imperceptible laser etched crown at the 6 o’clock position on the crystal. This is found on select models.

The first polish is conducted after an hour of CNC cutting. Polishing the unfinished mold in between each process greatly increases accuracy to the designated spec. Although time consuming, it is an imminent step as the key to perfection. New dials with detailed prints, engravings & inserts 100% same as genuine.

Mounting the hands to an automatic movement to make it preciously levelled is an acquired skill. Each assembly process is done by our watch masters to ensure the highest precision and integrity of the watch.

We follow the original design on the bezel, gasket and the back casing. The gasket and the back casing play the key role of waterproofing the watch up to 300M. All our Clone watches are fitted with Patented Abyss Deep-Sea Water Sealants and unique Abyss double core synthetic ”O” Rings. These are made from an Abyss patent  combination of polymer neoprene and Fluorocarbon synthetic rubber  which is far more resistant to cracking, corrosion and aging that can be a problem with natural rubber. All our Clones are now pressure tested to 10 bars so they are waterproof to 100 meters!

Our selected divers models now comes with working Helium Release Valve and they are fitted with the same extra thick Sapphire crystal as the original, making them water proofed to a staggering 300 meters. Although slightly less flexible, it was developed to withstand high oxygen environments and other hostile chemicals and gases that will deteriorate natural rubber gaskets in short order.

ABYSS® type DEEP is a combination of polymer neoprene and Fluorocarbon synthetic rubber gaskets and they have excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics and many organic solvents and chemicals. Replicas on the net are fitted with crude rubber sealants which generally offer poor water resistance. These also have to be regularly replaced to avoid moisture and dirt damaging the watch. All our watches are professionally sealed to keep out day to day dirt and are pressure tested up to 300 meters.
Abyss is a renowned and respected company that specializes in manufacturing watch sealants and durable pressure seals which are used on many infamous diving watches to ensure waterproofing of over 4000 meters. This is yet another exclusive feature that separates our Clones from the rest. The back covering the case of the watch is one solid piece of stainless steel. This ensures that the watch is pressure-proof to handle deep-sea diving. Some of our Rolex watches come with real green hologram sticker which is glued perfectly on the back. As of 2012 real Rolex models no longer come with holograms so we removed them from our models.

The bezels are designed with smooth uni-directional or bi-directional clicks to achieve high accuracy and in select models we use real solid high-tech ceramic material. They have 100% same construction as genuine. The watch band is tested for strength and durability in our automatic Band Tester for 3 hours. A machine does torsion testing to test the straps strength and long term durability.


Dissecting the Helium Release Valve:

In the first photo you can see the disassembled helium escape valve placed in order of how it fits together. On the left is the piston with its ABYSS “O” ring gasket. This moves out (i.e. to the left) if the pressure inside the case exceeds the tension of the spring holding it in place. Next is the body of the valve which screws into the watch case from the outside via the slots on its right. The flat portion on the left where the threads end accommodates a flat gasket. The spring rests inside the body of the valve, and this ensures that it is water resistant even without any pressure being exerted on the piston from the outside. Last is a flat metal washer. This is firmly friction fitted to the right hand side of the piston which is tapered in order to accommodate it. The washer also provides a base for the spring to rest on, thereby pulling the piston firmly to the right with enough pressure to squeeze the gasket thus ensuring the water resistance of the valve.

The second photo shows the piston and its ABYSS “O” ring gasket on the left. On the right is the body of the valve showing the recess that the piston and its gasket fit into. The flat part of the piston and the valve should be flush with the watch case when installed correctly. This is a simple and reliable over pressure relief valve that perform exactly as designed. The gaskets are superior longer lasting ABYSS type DEEP gaskets that are a patent  combination of polymer neoprene and Fluorocarbon synthetic rubber which is far more resistant to cracking, corrosion and aging that can be a problem with natural rubber. Although slightly less flexible, it was developed to withstand high oxygen environments and other hostile chemicals and gases that will deteriorate natural rubber gaskets in short order.

ABYSS® type DEEP is a combination of polymer neoprene and Fluorocarbon synthetic rubber gaskets and they have excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics and many organic solvents and chemicals. Temperature resistance for static applications is limited to approximately –65°F (–54°C) and up to  400°F(204°C) although in certain situations it is suitable down to –80°F (–112°C). Under dynamic conditions, the lowest service temperature is between -35°F and -40°F (–37°C and –40°C). Gas permeability is very low and similar to that of butyl rubber. Special fluorocarbon compounds exhibit an improved resistance to acids, fuels, water and steam.

Deep-sea divers not only needed solutions for water resistance at extreme depth, they also faced the danger of explosive decompression caused by helium penetrating the interior of the watch (divers breathed the mixture of oxygen and helium within their hyperbaric chamber after lengthy deep sea dives). To maintain a pressure identical to that underwater, the mixture in the hyperbaric chambers remained the same during the different phases of work and rest periods. This system was designed to eliminate the need to depressurize the chamber after each phase of work.

Before returning to free air, and depending on the depth attained, a period of depressurization was necessary to equalize the internal and external tension of the human organism. Though the process of depressurization is slow, the gas that accumulated inside the watch, having no means to escape fast enough, exploded the crystal off the watch, thereby risking injury to those inside the chamber and severely damaging an expensive watch. A solution came by installing a one-way pressure Helium release valve on the side of the watch case, at the nine o’clock position. The one-way valve will begin to equalize the pressure inside the watch when the difference between the exterior and interior of the watch exceeded 2.5 kg. per sq. cm.

Each Ultra Durable In-House Clone Swiss caliber is fine tuned at the final stage to ensure the time accuracy is within the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres standard of +6/-4 seconds per day using the most advanced digital Timegraphers. Also two testing machines simulate extreme "G-Forces" on the movement to assure flawless operation. A power drop machine simulates a three meter drop onto a wooden floor - a long standing Swiss standard is that a watch case and movement should withstand such a fall. The timepiece then undergoes a comprehensive final inspection to ensure the over all Swiss build quality.

True Divers Standards. All our watches are tested for ultra water tightness at 100 meters by industry's highest water resistance standard the ISO 6425. Our selected divers models now comes with working Helium Release Valve and they are fitted with the same extra thick Sapphire crystal as the original, making them water proofed to a staggering 300 meters.Every watch is tested in 3 different Waterproof Test Machines for 5 days. One using air pressure and the final two using water.

We perform some of the most extensive water resistance testing. In this first test station, the watches are simply placed in a shallow pan of tap water. Many may see this as a rather low hurdle for water resistance testing but it's an important step that many manufacturers miss. A watch can actually become more water resistant in high depth/pressure situations but if a fault exists in the case or the seals, this low pressure test is far more likely to find it. If this step is passed, then the watches are placed in this chamber for high pressure testing.

In this third and final test, watches are placed on a heating device, and then a drop of cool tap water is placed on the top of the crystal. If condensation appears on the underside of the crystal, then it is known that the watch case is compromised in some way, and fails the test.

All our Clone watches are fitted with Abyss Patented Deep-Sea Water Sealants and unique Abyss double core silicone ”O” Rings. These are made from neoprene silicon which is far more resistant to cracking, corrosion and aging that can be a problem with natural rubber. A screw in crown with Abyss rubber seal (O-ring) is fitted with a double seal that repels dust and water proof up to 300 meters. The brand emblems are carved out from one solid piece of stainless steel or solid gold, exactly like the real thing.
